Seven Squared enters digital video arena

Seven Squared is linking up with HarperCollins to make its high-profile interviews, published in Waterstone's literary customer magazine Books Quarterly, available as videos online at www.waterstones.com

The bookseller hopes to use its website, www.waterstones.com, to host a variety of video interviews published in the magazine, the first of which will be taken from the January edition and will see acclaimed author Hari Kunzru interviewing British writer J G Ballard.

Continuing the integration of print and web, the video will be flagged in the January issue of Books Quarterly, out on 24th January, with a link to the dedicated author page on the Waterstone's site. The link will also feature in Waterstone's weekly email newsletter and in-store POS.

Seven Squared's move into digital follows the recent appointment of Mike Burgess, Head of Digital, who was appointed as part of the agency's strategy to become a major player in providing multi-platform digital content.
